I’m going to be putting together my monthly newsletter over the weekend. If you want to receive it, make sure you click on the Mail Chimp widget and sign up. I’m going to include a sneak peak at Shadows of the Past’s first chapter. That’s right, you’ll get to meet Amethyst finally, and get a good dose of Sheriff Hunter.
New Beginnings is officially coming out July 29th. I’m going to do things a little differently than I did with In Too Deep. Last time I published to Amazon, Createspace and Smashwords. Createspace distributes the print to Amazon, and Smashwords distributed the book to everywhere but Amazon but it took a little while. So this time, I’m going to try to press publish a couple days early over at B&N, Amazon and Smashwords so it can wind up at the big places faster. That’s the goal at least.
I’m planning a big giveaway rafflecopter that will run from the 20th-29th. I have some donations to go it already, if you would like to donate, let me know. I’m happy to add you and get you some more exposure.
I’m so excited about New Beginnings. I’m getting nothing but awesome feedback on it. You can add it to your TBR on Goodreads. BTW, I love my beta readers, all of you. You’ll get a special mention in the acknowledgements in New Beginnings.
There will be a special giveaway IF In Too Deep gets to 75 reviews on Amazon before July 29th. It’s already at 58 Amazon reviews. This will be a smaller Rafflecopter that I will likely only post to my website. We’ll see, I may put it on facebook too. The prize will be a signed copy of In Too Deep with the new cover I’m working on. It will match the New Beginnings cover, and a signed copy of New Beginnings. Everyone will be eligible. I won’t limit it to the US. Here’s the catch, I’m going to assign a crazy amount of points to the permalink to your Amazon review.
As always, I want to thank the readers who constantly make my day. I absolutely love hearing from you all. In fact someone suggested t-shirts and coffe mugs. I may have to look into CaféPress
Tarnya Rutheford is helping me with a street team It’s not terribly organized yet. I’m getting some ideas together that I’ll post later. Contact me if you would like to be a part of it. Either through facebook or email, firstname.lastname@example.org
Now, I need to go back to proofreading.
Thank you for reading,
Brandy L Rivers
PS. I’m running a little behind on my featured author. I’ll have one up in a couple days, then another a few days after that 🙂
